BUSINESS » New Old Stock | Vintage

Ever wonder what those ppl online r talking about when they say NOS?
“New Old Stock” parts were manufactured long ago, but for various reasons, has never been used. Some times collectors buy parts and put them under their beds for years and years or perhaps a sponsored racer has a box full of unused parts from yesteryear. In the case of the Chain, fortune shined upon us when we came across a warehouse full of vintage bicycles. A stock of late 70’s and early 80’s bicycles that had been hidden away for over 25 years. An interesting assortment of Raleighs, Miyatas and Centurions were found still packaged in their original, dusty boxes. They had never been assembled.
The stock continues to get smaller and once they are gone, they really gone. How many we have left may be a mystery, but I assure you we do have a finite number. Come by the shop and you can check out one of our NOS bikes in the shop. We also sometimes harvest the parts off the bikes to rebuild other frames. See the links and photos in this section for more information on our old-meets-new finds.
Rosebud was a bike!
