RIP Peter Yates

It saddens me to report that Peter Yates has passed away on the 9th. Yates directed Breaking Away - possibly the most memorable bicycle movie ever and where the reference of “Cutters” comes from. (So thats where that reference comes from!) Click here to watch the trailor. (Movie trailors sure have come a long way havnt they?) Anyway, a big thank you to Mr Yates for blessing us with such great film making and inspiring many of us to want to ride, race and win in addition to inspiring some of us to become bicycle paraphernalia Italophiles. And on a side note, since the famous chase scene from Bullitt was shot in SF, heres a link to that too. Buckle up!
