no way.

no way.

Did you ever want a reverse-steering bike? Me neither, but this guy did! He said he designed it and his friend welded the extra headtube piece on and then they welded the gears onto the stem and steerer. uhh. I know, right? I swear I tried my hardest to ride on it and I got nowhere quickly. Its very counter intuitive to throw your weight against your turn. I couldnt even roll 5 feet on the thing! Neither could any shop friends! But I swear the kid that owns it rode it home! He said he did it so no one could steal his bike. I guess someone could steal it, but riding it might take a while.

I went on a cross ride the other day with my buddy Alan. We decided to cruise up Conzelman loop, hang a right down the Coastal Trail and cruise a little on Bobcat before attacking Miwok. Boy what a climb! At the top, I met a photographer named Gary Yost. A really nice guy, we enjoyed the cloudy views and talked about photography for a second. Check out some of his great HDR shots of Tennessee Valley and Hill 88.

Chain Gang member Zachary has been a shop regular for some time now and he was kind enough to blog about his “new” vintage Faggin that he bought from us! It was quite a greasy adventure but it turned out wonderful and now shes clocking miles smiles. Check out his blog when you get half a second. Hes a man of many talents. Thats a sweet teahouse he built!
